A member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and an American Board of Family Medicine certified family physician, Dr. Pearson is a globally recognized expert in the field of cannabinoid-based medicine and has treated thousands of patients with a range of complex conditions, including multiple chronic pain diagnoses, sleep disorders, multiple sclerosis, anxiety, PTSD, treatment-resistant epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, and cancer. Dr. Pearson also has extensive experience in long-term care—specifically helping to manage responsive behaviours associated with dementia and using cannabinoids to reduce polypharmacy. Dr. Pearson was previously the Primary Care Lead, Mental Health, Addictions & Opioid Reduction Strategy for the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network’s (LHIN) and is the principal investigator on several current research projects.
